Topic: Purchased Karaoke Anywhere songs on iPod Touch 3G

New to KA. I looked for this topic but apparently it is not a common problem. I purchased almost $60 worth of karaoke songs directly through the iPod. I had to reset the iPod for an unrelated reason and when I re-synched from my PC all the songs were absent. I'm not sure if I had performed a sync to the PC after the purchase or not. In any case there does not seem to be a method to actually recover these already purchased songs via either the PC or the iPod. The URL which is all numbers does nothing at all on any of my PCs and it is unclear what a numerical URL does do. MP3+G zipped files cannot be transferred to the iPod from the PC which is why I bought the software license. As a result I purchased some favorite songs which apparently have to be re-purchased (?!?) every time you havean iPod malfunction. I am not a PC novice. I read everything available on the subject. However, since there is no apparently telephone support available I am hoping that someone has encountered these two issues.

1.) Missing files - how do you recover them without buying them again?

Thank you for your patience. I think the program is excellent. I wish there was a PDF user guide or something to refer to. Thanks in advance for any information anyone may be able to provide.

I want to first make sure that you've purchased the karaoke songs through the Karaoke Anywhere or Karaoke Anywhere Lite application.

If so, we are in pretty good shape:

  • First I want you to re-download the application. Now don't worry if you had previously purchased Karaoke Anywhere, it will re-download for free. If you already have the application, make sure it is updated to the most current version (3.0) by going to the app store on your ipod and clicking the updates tab at the bottom.

  • You should now have version 3.0 of the software, if you go to the account tab, then to purchased songs, you'll see all of the songs your device has purchased.

  • You can now re-download all of your songs for free.

As far as transferring the purchased songs from you ipod to your pc, let's tackle the re-downloading of songs first then move on to that after.
